Linear Move Irrigation System

Two-Wheeled Linear Move Irrigation System

The two-wheeled linear move irrigation system moves in a parallel path. The center point and all spans move uniformly in parallel. Water flows from the center point and is distributed evenly through sprinklers along the machine to irrigate the field. It is commonly referred to as a linear machine.

Structural Features
Ideal for narrow and long fields with a small footprint for travel and control. It can operate on irregularly shaped or L-shaped farmland and can be easily relocated to other fields.

Application
This two-wheeled linear move system is suitable for rectangular or trapezoidal fields.
Water supply can be provided by an open channel along the field or a portable water hose.
The power system uses a diesel generator or a portable cable, with ditch-guided travel as the common control method.

Four-Wheeled Linear Move Irrigation System

The four-wheeled linear move irrigation system is similar in design to the two-wheeled model. It also uses more than ten towers to support a long sprinkler pipe, and irrigates while moving. The only difference lies in the wheel and tire configuration.

Structural Features

The DPP Four-Wheeled Linear Move Irrigation System offers greater stability than the two-wheeled version.Water can be supplied via an open channel along the field or a portable water hose. The power system can be a diesel generator or a portable cable, with ditch-guided travel as the standard configuration.

Application

It is ideal for relatively flat, rectangular fields with a length-to-width ratio greater than 1:3.
